    A gorgeous vintage latch hook rug made by the prolific mid-century rug latcher, Art Sloate.
    This style is

    , a 100% wool rug in autumnal forest tones, measuring approx. 36" x 70". A fine example, this rug looks as new with fresh colors. All ready for a new home.
    Shillcraft rug kits were made by Readicut, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202. They were a wildly popular hobby during mid- to late-last century, although often not completed – it was a time-consuming, laborious task, especially for larger examples such as this one. This rug has been beautifully finished and will add charm to any interior.

    An original Handmade by Art Sloate
    Vacuum regularly and dry clean as needed.
    Washing in hot water is not recommended.
    A lovely rug that appears to be unused and kept in careful storage for decades.
