The Haiti 10 Gourde banknote from 2000 is part of the 2000 - 2015 series. Its obverse side depicts the country's national flag being sewn by Haitian national heroine and seamstress Catherine Flon, on May 18, 1803, the last day of the Congress of Arcahaie, and the BRH as a registration device. The reverse side features the Coat of Arms of Haiti with cannon, flags, anchor, bugle, drum, and palm tree. The note is 163 x 70 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized BRH 10 and a palm tree watermark to enhance its security features.
