This banknote, in accordance with the convention of April 12, 1919 is payable to the holder in legal currency of the United States of America at the rate of Five Gourdes for a dollar.

National Bank of the Republic of Haiti, This note, issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Haiti, under its concession contract, and in accordance with the convention of April 12, 1919, is payable to bearer in legal tender of the United States of America at the rate of five gourdes for one dollar on presentation at the bank counter in Port-au-Prince and under road delays at its provincial counters.
