Vintage Chinese Calligraphy Bamboo Brush Pot & Porcelain Bowl in Wood Carrier

Description

This carrier is cut from one piece of wood.
It has a cut-out for a porcelain bowl, which fits in tightly. The bowl has a lip which fits over the opening.
The smaller opening is rimmed in brass and holds a bamboo cup which has split with age.
The two tubular handles are brass.
The carrier has a pleasing, rounded bowl shape.
As mentioned, the only issue is the split in the bamboo cup.
The wood carrier is 8" diameter and 3-1/2" high.
The porcelain cup is 4" diameter.
The bamboo cup is 4-1/8" tall.
